You make an update of ManiaPlanet and ShootMania and thereby you can not open some new maps in Canyon and play ?
It apparently missing blocks.

The missing blocks issue is already known and might be fixed today already

Yesterday I played about 6h Elite with some friends and the new "laser destroys rocket" is really annoying. We all came to the conclusion that except this the new storm gameplay stuff is really great. So if you remove the "laser destroys rocket" thing, everything is fine

For all:
/computeallshadows

And some options:

/useronly (only lightmaps calculated on players' tracks)
/LmQuality=Fast

Thanks but /LmQuality=High doesn't seem to work.
It computes the shadows in default quality.


It isn't necessary to use a .bat file to use these parameters:
Create a shortcut to ManiaPlanet.exe and add the parameters "/computeallshadows /useronly /collections=Storm /LmQuality=High" to the target of the shortcut.
It will automatically compute the shadows of all you storm maps.

If you could report your issues, crashes on the Beta reports forums by using the tag [B.2] in your message title, this would be great

Kudos on the new update, really like it and the new features/game modes are simply amazing.

It's nice seeing Shootmania grow. Hopefully it will start getting more and more attention in terms of eSports and oldschool chaps will start playing it hardcore as it was Q3 :p

AMAZING NEW STUFF
Love almost everything about the new BETA, with ONE exception:

The sound (noise) the player is making is nice for yourself, but if u want to hear the attacker it's almost impossible now, so i really dislike this, make it more like the old sound for the sake of hearing your opponent in important situations.

So except that, everything is brilliant, like walljumps (multiple walljumps :X), that give the attacker much more flexibility...elite really needed this; rockets are now way better, hate the old ones that would just float through the air making random long range shots possible; sharp movement, less inertia - great stuff!

I also really like the scoreboard (elite), but i wish you could make it display the ping for every player on the server
so that in official games, players can see the average ping of each team and they can find a fair server for both teams.

PS: I also have Siberia V2 USB, and had absolutely no crash (played elite/royal for like 5 hours)

can we change the maxround directly in the SMStormElite.txt ? does it work now ?

My Feedback.. I start with the worst, and end with the best

[---] The buttons are crap, the 3D locks in the wrong the direction and could be maybe useful, if you add maniaplanet for a tablet pc / Ipad. The color "grey" is really not beautiful.

[---] The "Backgrounds" on storm/canyon are really crap, whats happens with the enviroments? Only clouds? Performance improvements?^^

[---] The "station" system sucks in my opinion, I don't like it, but I have to live with it. These "titles" are more then senseless in my opinion, Now I have 3 times Royal.. Shootmania Royal, Royal and Royal exp ?^^ Hello world, why you not include "all" these titles in the maingame (well, I saw the servers in the maingame.. maybe I don't understand at the moment). Why is this not possible, and prefer to "spam" stations with things like this, explain this pls, for free2play player?^^

[++] Walljump is ok, maybe a multiple multijumps could be funnier on narrow walls

[++] Sliding is funny, but not really interest. The blocks itself are nice designd

[++] The title Stadium and Valley are not downloadable -_- come on^^

[+++] If you wanna join a server, the new designed "windows" are really nice. But there is still a bug (?) like in TMF, you have 50 maps, but only 14 maps will be showed.
