Zootie are you sure this return-key bug persists after the last update? I can't find any pasword protected server atm :/zootie wrote: * Try to setup a test server with password, well it crashes if you don't use your mouse.

Re: Canyon priorities
that's because the default filter settings are 'Public Servers Only', you have to set it to 'All Servers' to show Private Servers (password protected ones) as wellzarexz wrote:zootie wrote:I can't find any pasword protected server atm :/
you're able to do so after clicking on Advanced in the server browser
(not sure about the correct terms, i'm writing with memory only)
Re: Canyon priorities
Thx for the info steeffeen
If I press return after entering a pasword I just get the message the pw is wrong, no crashing.
If this is what you mean zootie?

So you mean entering the password to join a password protected server? (not creating a password protected multiplayer game, right?)
well it seems like the password is wrong then

Re: Canyon priorities
Urhmm no. Installed new server now (latest patch), seems to be OK, I think..steeffeen wrote:You're welcome.zarexz wrote:Thx for the info steeffeen![]()

This is what happens :
* If you enter the password and press enter with keyboard, TM dies or pretend it's never been there. (I just love the way it crashes)
* If I click on 'OK' with my mouse after entering password all is fine.
I only use password protection to test servers for comps etc. so no real biggie, but it's nice to have.

Re: Canyon priorities
Indeed, solo campaign maps with up-to-date shadows have been pushed around 23 january 2013.eyebo wrote: [...]
- SOLO CAMPAIGN -
Needs Updated: Shadows need to be recalculated on all solo campaign maps to fix lightmap errors. Then the updated maps need to be pushed out to all clients without invalidating previous records. Right now, some campaign maps have big black splotches, even in the driving route, that destroy the driving experience. A new map pack should be released so the maps can be updated on MX and on servers as well. And yes, I know there's a command I can run to recalculate lightmaps on all maps (though I'm not sure if that would include solo campaign maps). But I also know that not everyone has a fast computer and some people take over an hour per map to calculate shadows. It is unreasonable to expect them to recalculate the shadows on all the campaign maps themselves.

If you still see big lighting bugs in solo campaign, please report the map name.
Fixed in next version.eyebo wrote: B2.1b Tested - Still Broken - Bug: After restarting a map the view will be blurry as if a "Depth of Field" filter has been added. Turning off motion blur in the quick config and turning it on again fixes it. But it would be nice if this never happened in the first place. I think this may be the result of the "Depth of Field" from the podium not being reset when the map restarts.
I wasn't able to reproduce that with last version (12/02/2013), please note VeryFast quality is never saved.tcq wrote:Editor/Shadows
When you calculate shadows and validate the map, the shadows are saved.
If you calculate the shadows, save the map and close the editor without validation, the shadows aren't saved.
This is so frustrating and takes each time additional 5-30min (depending on the shadow quality) until you can validate the map again.
Did you see the "computed shadows" check box enabled when the save dialog sum-up is displayed ?
Thanks

Will try to do some tests this evening or the weekend, haven't had time so far -_-LuckyBoy wrote:I wasn't able to reproduce that with last version (12/02/2013), please note VeryFast quality is never saved.tcq wrote:Editor/Shadows
