Isn't that possible now? I thought I saw a convert that changed it...although it would be nice to have a little grip on the half-pipes...go back to say Island or Bay settings...

at the moment (things can change) we expect to do a progressive closed beta and no open beta....
I hope they select a diverse group for the betas to get a wide range of opinions and feedback to ensure the best possible result. They could select from ;
Some famous competion racers and high ranked players from many nations
And also some low rank players. Its important the game has a suitable learning curve.
Some famous authors or use the startrack authors
A selection of maniasite creators
Most of the usual established community site admins and mods
Maybe some of the ROC server admins and other quality server admins like mistral
A selection of active forum members from here and tm-forum
And of course some random logins to ensure a diversity.
Overall the news of the beta delay while initially dissapointing. Its good to here Hylis talk in his usual way that gives us confidence that TM2 will be a quality game. .... Keep working

Of course they will. Why shouldn't they go for the best result of a beta?
A betastatus is for testing all the things and the bigger the diversity of players is, the better is the result.
So I'm pretty sure they'll take the biggest possible diversity of players
Gogogo Nadeo for the best game ever
At least until TM3 comes out
