Nadeo, Sprint, Florent, TM2: Epic. Ubisoft: Fail. I haven't yet seen the interview, admittedly (am at work and sound isn't allowed on the computers here :P ), but if Ubisoft let Maniaplanet get shadowed up by another Rayman game--with Rabbids, nonetheless, they really have no idea what makes a good game. BECAUSE their other titles are established games they should have LESS time in order to showcase a new shining gem in their treasure trove...<_< That only seems obvious.

The problem is:
Ubisoft had a good success with previous rayman and rabbit games. So they know, that they potentially will have a huge success with these games again. That's a good reason for the managers to invest time and money into it.
But trackmania is something new and so the managers of Ubisoft prever the other games, because they trust more in them. ;)

why is everybody complaining about the time?

5 minutes are enough time to present a new game

again:

Introduction: Everbody can make his own map with the map editor
Track editor trailer 1 min
Then talking that 10 million people are playing it and it has a huge community
Showing the new trailer 1:30

that's enough, but it was 1:30 trailer and 3:30 about honor to be on stage....

But then you have too many facts in a short time. No one can remember them all. Then it's better to say, that the previous game is very popular. You only need to create a hype. Telling as much as possible about the game is not so important ;)

EDIT: Also they said similar things to the other games as well. e.g. for assassin's creed ;)

Well the presentation was good. Of course there could have been more informations, but for the audience that was there, it was enough info. They arent TM freaks like we are. They are just american journalists and players(i think) and TM isnt realy known or popular in the US.

I get your point

but the fact that EVERY PLAYER CAN CREATE HIS OWN MAP, is the most important thing in this game! Okay the unrealistic tracks and realistic graphics/handling are shown at the trailer, but the most important thing must be shown at this presentation

actually it's over so we can't change it. I just hope Nadeo/Ubi do it better in the next presentations ;)

MrBob wrote:and dont worry about ingame camera footage, you'll see some when its time for that!)
Hylis wrote: In fact, I think there will be right from E3. People will probably film it from the booth. So, I would expect gameplay videos to pop up on some websites.
MrBob wrote: For ingame footage, if you are talking about a camera 2 (without media tracker), You'll eventually see some, dont worry and be patient please :) Everything will come on due time!
so we can be sure to get ingame footage on e3 and Dreamhack
