but posted on maniacreative forum from some guy on nadeo, ideally the coder, if they have login there :)
It will still be a tool made by NADEO and will probably be seen as an official tool...

btw.: I forgot to mention something,
it´s the point when blocks are flickering.
someone said it allready and I think same,

additionaly: flickering is like stroboscope in a disco, but not as hardcore :)
I like it!

You people really need to turn the volume down a bit. There's absolutely zero need for bad vibes.

We've got so many possible solutions at hand...

a) Somebody/guys take over the tool from arc_ : A bit cumbersome to update
b) Like so many other great games, the game gets another command line startup option (maniaplanet.exe -unlimiter) which takes away the restrictions.
c) "Lift restrictions" button within the editor with a warning sign.

I would certainly prefer b/c, because it's cleaner and if Nadeo believes that there are things that should be prohibited even without normal restrictions, they would have the control over these hard restrictions.

All in all, I think the community has easily proved to be mature enough to use blockmixing in enriching ways, not in destructive or ugly ways.

I prefer waiting for the blockmixing. We haven't had blockmixing until 2 years after the tmf release too (about). And for most of the guys, the hexedit is too complicated. First try to make great tracks without blockmixing!

I prefer not to call it blockmixing, but rather a tool where you can place blocks where you like, i.e. closer together than you can currently. That is really what we want. I certainly don't want an object in the middle of the road and flickering like a xmas tree, unless it's a real LOL map :roflol:

i also think what "TStarGermany " said B and C
Is the right way to go, thinking how long TM as been around now without unlimiter tools...once over i said it would
be nice if we could place the Block 8 ways instead of the 4 ways we get now..
Yes i would love to see the tool made by Nadeo, it lets the track builder's make them just a wee bit better
and come on guys at the end of the day, its the builders which keep this Gret game going !
some builders just need to push the build a little bit more

YES, give us Unlimiter-tool!
Building maps without Unlimiter is annoying. It always ends up in the trash.
