Nighty has been updated from latest Dev with some new stuff added.
I tested it fastly and it should work without any problems, in other case just post your findings and I try to see if anything needs any fixes.

Widgets has been updated for the new layout, if you wish to continue to use the old layout, just see
Dedimania, Liverankings and Localrecords plugin settings, there you find checkbox to enable the older looks

Hmm.. Well, I thought with the new layout maybe it's not needed.
Have to see how i can implement it with this new stuff.

Currently it's available when you click "next map" widget (at tab layer)

I can not see a " next map widget"
enabled in "Maps generic management and jukebox"

the local window won't appear - widget is active and locals will be saved
The mapwindow @ topright does not appear, even with "Maps generic management and jukebox"

did you also activate the plugin "Widget: Current map" ?
