1. Did Nadeo was right to take time to work on it?

If console players could receive a PC key too that could be good for all !
On console you could have a quick entertainment, and on PC a most advanced tool.

I know for a fact that in any statistical measurement by choice regardsles whatever topic, if its a server vote, map vote , or opinion about a game, a few % of content people don't let them hear themselfs. But a uncontent people will let themselfs be heard, sometimes up to the point where the biggest box of tissues in the world wont help anymore. And if your positive, u get doomed euphoric, unrealistic et etc. If u browse this forum from beginning to end with every new thing presented u will see. But read through battlefield, watchdogs forums too. And it always will leave its mark on the projects.

Awesome news.

I thought you, Hylis, could maybe calm some minds by answering this question:

"Will there be an improvement to the Title system (and principles) and can you give us info about it?"

Hylis wrote:Here, the debate can only be on two things in my eyes:
1. Did Nadeo was right to take time to work on it?
2. Was it positive to have a PC version more than negative?

I am totally confident that anwers to 1 & 2 are "yes" But I can undertsand that some players are not, for many reasons, including the lack of understanding (not idiot, but missing informations, time to digest some etc.)
I am quite confident that the game is going to be huge fun, and will be liked by many. I simply love every single environment you have released so far. Some I like more bit there isn't a single one of them that I don't like.

For me the real issue is why would players that has bought TMT which looks feels like a finished product want to switch to MP. I am dead scared that they won't and that we MP players will start playing more and more TMT because more players & more fun even if less creativity.

I will hibernate and send kerbals to space for another while while waiting for some more complete news in order to stop and spam the form with my negativeness :D

Arrgh, see i almost forget myself

@Hylis and team: I enjoy Maniaplanet almost every day. Having a clan is also not always the finest thing. But im here also still after 8 years. What lies ahead, if its with or without success. I now it is done with passion to give it the best try to make it work. For 'only' 60 euros (not counted my dedi server)i shared the good and bad times in maniaplanet for the last 4 years.

Thanks Oliverde8, but I think I am mainly less scared than you because I know we are here to work and improve things to make them as good as possible. Meanwhile, I hope the communities will help each others!

Killaprodtm, If you mean on Maniaplanet 4, I already gave some informations on improvements for titles (stats, help or achievements) After that, since there is the list of all servers, automatic link to download the ones you don't have, it would only be the question of a master browser. If we do it, it would be more like a quick link plug in on system bar. We will also work on making them more easily etc. But the deep concept of title is still the best I can see for the long term future of Maniaplanet we have. A title is somewhat the equivalent of applications, and they are useful when you reach critical sizes of data and major services that need to defined an area.

weerwolf, thanks!

Hylis wrote: Trackmania Turbo is not an upgrade, it's different (think it's made for console or big screen somehow)
I'm sorry, could you explain this a bit further, I guess some of us not smart enough to understand such a simple thing - why is it being advertised as a different experience when there's 3 environments from the Maniaplanet?
I understand that there will be new interface, perhaps even some new blocks that could've been added to the MP years ago, and even new maps to play! But that doesn't sound like a whole different experience to me, would be great if you helped me(and I'm sure many others) with that.

Also, don't get me wrong, all these negative comments towards the new game doesn't mean that I'm against Trackmania moving forward etc, so far I've bought every single Nadeo game since I discovered TMUF, but this splitting into what looks like the same game seems very questionable, especially if owners of MP and TMT won't be able to play with each other.
