Downloading 1.0 .... maybe 4-hour download at current speed,
this thread is only 8 hours old .... 14 pages of legitimate gripes ?? ... and they're still finding more ...
did we ever get an answer about Solo Mode .... D04 ... are the Standard maps no longer compatible ?

I aggree with you LuckyBoy: with one light sourse in that environment you wouldn't expect dark shadow definition.

Update from my side :

1) MP2 work fine with xaseco
2) Trackbuilding - a bit slower but managable
3) Online server - between maps the graphics go wonky.. looks like a tornado

Oh and I have a time bomb in my car's boot, everytime i start a map, it ticks off. :roflol:

well the deal is that neither the pillars nor the car cast a shadow directly in front of the light source.

A user in the german section says that he can't drift anymore.

He says he uses the arrow keys to steer and the ALT key to brake. Can't confirm this bug but maybe u can find the problem =)

Three days? Are you serious? Don't you think this is like 50% more of time as needed? :roflol:
Three full days of testing maniaplanet with some dozens alpha testers and then punishing and bohering the whole community with an alphalike piece of software which had like 20 updates and fixes in the first 12 hours after release???

Sorry thats fail and not even beta stadium. i would rather call Maniaplanet 2 alpha!

I really LOVE Trackmania (and TM2) for sure and will also love Shootmania and Questmania - 100%.
No Question ... and i also know that nadeo is much too little and maybe also too inexperiended to handle a big huge plattform like maniaplanet with three big titles (games). But as nadeo seems to wanna play in the same big "sandbox" like the "big kids" (like Blizzards Battle.net), then they also have to bring nearly the same service and games.

I also would have no problem at all to pay 50€ instead of 20€ for each nadeo game or environment - really.

But i really can't believe that they push alpha-stadium software to the whole community in a rush and with unsatisfactory testing it of a long period of time, just because they wanna hurry up to bring shootmania closed beta online and into MP2. :teub:

I feel like a raped and forced alpha-tester :shock:
