Re: What new block do you want to see?
something like dips? this is a great idea as well

Re: What new block do you want to see?
Yea, kind of like dips but long or short sections of mud and or shallow water that you have to plow through.
Google "Mud Bog images".
Shallow water puddles might be better for Stadium style. Mud would be good in a "Jungle" Env.

A dam in Valley, also a Highway with fences
Re: What new block do you want to see?
A Dam would be cool holding back water. I also like the idea of running water in an environment, such as Rivers, Creeks and Waterfalls.

Cities. "Building/Skyscraper" blocks. Would help with my mediatracking

Re: What new block do you want to see?
Bay had some good building blocks. Also Coast had some cool buildings. Actually, now that I think about it most past environments had buildings of some sort but not so much Canyon.
Someone should do a Buildings addon pack.

It would be awesome but it would also mean another title.Demented wrote:Someone should do a Buildings addon pack.
Funny really, the whole title idea was to give us all the freedom we needed to create custom content. It turns out though that it's all really quite a clumsy system. First of all you got to have a bit of luck to find a cool title, install it (pay for it), switch to it, play it. Then if you want to play something else you have to go back to the title selection menu. Click another title (if you have a whole bunch of them, scroll through the others first), load it and play. After doing this for a while, you've clicked yourself silly and give up on it all together. Not to mention the lack of multi-envi servers. As far as I can understand we can expect those in the year 3000 if ever at all.
I can't help being so negative lately but my game runs like **** with all the mini freezes, too many people are playing stadium and don't come back to Canyon and it seems to take forever before a, for me, usefull update finaly arives.

I wish I didn't feel the need to agree, but I do. I'm not fond of the system but love the game. I've never been a fan of Coppers or Planets and personally have no use for them. It would be nice to download content, put it in a folder and have it be in the game. I seem to run into issues every time I update or add content. Don't get me wrong though, It's still my favorite Driving game with editors.

I have faith that all the little bugs will work their way out--think of this as being an early Steam. (Still don't like the fact that they caved and put TM2 on Steam, but whatever.)zarexz wrote:It would be awesome but it would also mean another title.Demented wrote:Someone should do a Buildings addon pack.

In its early incarnations, Steam was a bug-ridden mess. At least it was for me. I actually left Steam for a while because I thought it was going to be a flop. But, lo and behold, they got things worked out, and now, Steam is one of the biggest online gaming--platforms-- (what is it technically called? It's not a retailer, and it's not really an OS...

@Trackmaniac: It's not the bugs, it's the waiting for things to get done and the clicking and clicking, and clickerdeclick click, still not racing...
Also, I hate everything like steam-shield-they-decide-for-me kinda system. I know my way arround the computer and I'm perfectly fine buying a shiney-round-disk-in-a-cool-box in the stores (this way one goes places and meets real people in the proces).
But this is about blocks, have I allready mentioned more checkpoints?
