Edit: by the way, servers depots have to counted in, otherwise it is fiscal paradise and people who would avoid to contribute equally to others to the fight against inflation.

I think that is not the case at all servers, most people contributed to our servers to show their appreciation.
Because of the amount of planets, we organise Smurfscups to give back planets and people who just win a map got some planets back as well, after all the money must circulate .
Because of those Smurfscups and other things we hope to attract more people to our server.

I understand that there must be an inflation, or all planets are worthless in the end, but an increase of 10% is perhaps a bit to much, we lost about 50K at our server. (Although taxes in our country are way higher ) Also it would be nice if servers who got appreciated that much got something back instead, such as indeed the EP's. Lets just see how this develops, but i hope the inflationrates will be less then 10% and the EP's will be handed out to servers as well.

Think you guys need to take a step back and relax Nadeo is working on a solution and at the end of the day it will work out just fine.

As for an EP or planet ladder, well I don't think it will work. Saying this because you can actually buy (yes with money) planets by just buying several accounts, pool them all up and you can be ahead of anyone else.

Now, I really don't see why everyone is complaining about losing planets, we can't just generate planets and in 3 years everyone will have 3,000,000 planets and can't do anything with it because no-one wants or need them.

Ladder servers : hmmm, how many are active in TM2 ? so how come so many people want to open 80/90k servers ?
The appealing part of earning LP's in TM2 is not so great compared to TM1 for some reason (ok in my case I know it's because Coast was very popular for 90k servers). So I think the servers need a re-think, I mean you can host a 50+ players server for no planets, but when you pay 80k planets you can only host 12 (current ladder rules, and yes I understand why that was done because of LP hunting).

Anyhow, that was the longest post I've written ever, my fingers are sore

These Eco points add insult to injury: They're worth nothing and are just a handwritten bill for the committed communist robbery.

I mean seriously, I offer lots of download stuff and pay real money for it each month. Not only that planets are already worth next to nothing, but even those get taken away from you -at will-

Where's the fun in this ???

hmm, it's just like in the real world (at least here, in Lithuania): taxes are getting bigger, people have less money, but prices stay the same.

In TMUF, if you were running the FAST plugin (and you were admin), you could do:

And it would tell you the amount in the server account.
Maybe you can do the same in TM2 if you're running FAST. Or maybe it's:

/custom GetServerPlanets

Probably the only way to know if some Planets were removed is to keep a regular record of how much is in the server account.

If youre running Xaseco just type /server and you can see all the settings including the amount of planets available.

ah i though u can see it like u see it ingame (message xxx planets have been conerted to blabla ep)

on the server itself i knew allready how i can see the planets, but as i am running betcha, minigame mario and a lottery so -i dont know exactly how much i payed out to players, and how much is gone to nadeo, (in each month)

I just started to monitor planet outgive to players 3 weeks ago, so i just saw that it was a drop on planets from last of month to next day on about 6k for tax (pretty much like 10 % at that time ), because that was overnight and the server was empty).
I would like tto se how much was transfered to nadeo, and how much ep was given , thats not possible with (/planets in my case )

in 3 weeks we gave away about 7.2 k planets to other players. (one of the minigames is writing to the db for just since 2 weeks so it really could maybe 12 k or 10 k.
6 k was nadeo monthly tax.
anyhow i d like to see fininacial statistics for my servers (Nadeo tax / ep) , that should really be doable for nadeo.

i dont know how other controlers handle this, but iam pretty shure the outgive for minigames, lottery , winnerpayout
is not monitored on a regular base (Planets / day) but as planets / player.

if nothing is changing on that (overview planets tax/ep), i need to change my plugins to work like bankaccounts.
(each pament into its own DB entry, with date, real pay out) so i can see how much is given to players, how much is taken off from nadeo.

That's easy. Just enter your serveraccount as playeraccount in the MP login procedure.

You then login into your account and although you don't have any titles there, you can send planets/messages and get the info how many planets have been robbed at the end of the month.
