Re: TRACKMANIA² Stadium - Your Opinions
well i don't know about that. i believe that nadeo has some new maniaplanet features scheduled for release, and i bet that you'll need planets for them.

You have got to get the physics the same - I think the gravity field is heavier or the car has more friction or something. Thousands of Original tracks, especially PUSH FORWARDS will NOT work because of the perfect design flow. Tracks that needed the perfect line to make the jump are now falling short by a hair. PLEASE FIX.

Happybrad: If you want to play Stadium 1 tracks, do that on Stadium 1. Stadium 2 is a different game, with different maps. It's not supposed to be an upgrade. The reason stadium 1 exists is to play stadium 1 maps, you don't need stadium 2 to do that >_>

Re: TRACKMANIA² Stadium - Your Opinions
I actually like Stadium 2 better than Stadium 1.
Just enough changes got made to make it at least a little bit interesting for me again. I like the new sound fx, and the maniaplanet engine which somehow makes the driving feel faster just like in Canyon.
And I love then new IDM soundtrack -- at least it seems like IDM. I always had this opinion that Trackmania should eventually use IDM music for at least one envronment. (For anyone who's wondering what that acronym is that I just used three times, it stands for "Intelligent Dance Music". The most well-known artist is probably Aphex Twin).
@DreadofMondays: Nice sig

The eyes of the plush lobster stared deep into my soul. I picked it up, and then I was a panther.

Unless NADEO fixes this (and the cam 2 issue) , I'm afraid TM² Stadium will not be as popular as NADEO is hoping to be.
I mean, Those who played this game for years clearly can tell (or call it a feeling) that it's NOT the same physics !
They promised us the same gameplay we all love and hate :O but it Isn't !
If these issues are not fixed by the official release then I'm almost certain that sales will be low and the most (hardcore) stadium players will just go back to good ol' NF

I do not understand , if you want the game the same why the He.. change to stadium2 , stay on TMNF.
I mean people already complaining that they will not buy the game , because it's the same game.

Keep the game the same , We will not buy cause it's the same game .
