I hope this is only a beta test cause this give another bad HIT to Maniaplanet community.
And after i won? What i won?
And Planets? What i do with planets in Shootmania? Can i buy a POLE to get some other rockets?
Hmmmm....
Can i jump over the world so i can rule it and shoot my 5 rockets on a continent?
maybe we can call it Shootmania : World War 3.....

Anyway i'm joking...
but not too much.

Well as I said in another topic that so far it doesn't look too impressive... still, i'm not going to judge before I see some actual rules and video footage.

will we have more news of a beta in the new year? the videos and screens have been great so far....but i would love to see more!

Just remember this is an early alpha stage...we're not even into beta phase yet.

Yeah, I'm fully aware of it not being the full game we will be playing, but first impressions i'm getting are these.

The idea of 5 rockets, 3 or so weapons and random teams like 3 vs 1 and jumping really high in the air all sound terrible, but like you say, we are still ages before the game is released so hopefully these won't be the case, which i highly doubt... you know how Nadeo is when they (he) makes a decision

I think this should give us only a small idea of the kind of game modes you can have. But i like it, that you need to be cautious with your ammunition.
But i think, there will be for sure game modes where you can simply shot as much as you like.
