Imho, if that only environment will be as fun as island is, other environments won't be needed at all.

Don't take me too seriously. ;)

Call me conspiracy-theorist, but I think that having one envi first and getting them on timely updates it's Nadeo's attempt to keep MixD from (censored)ing the whole code of the game up like he did short ago with Envmixing. Nobody noticed that first came Revelation Skirmish and then this forum? :ugeek: :ugeek:

It took him years to do that, it wasn't something he just thought about doing one day.

It was more like a tiny change to map files, for messing up the game it would have had to be an update or other downloadable thing... :P

Also Nadeo doesn't seem that bothered by it.

there was no fitting thread , and I was not couraged enough to open a new one , so I put it into the "environments" thread.
As I read florent/hylis said "Every computer which runs stadium will run TM2 too". Well , can a full stadiummap be compared to a full valleymap then , because valley had already mountains in that video that looked as large as 3 mountain layers in forever".
What i want to ask is. If I can drive a stadiummap with maybe 2500 used coppers in the track with 50 fps , will it run also with around 50 fps on a valleymap with the same ammount of used coppers , or will the coppers (or whatever it will be in tm2) of each block need much more space (e.g. building one little hill would waste already 10 coppers of space)
I apologize for my english , but I hope you got my point

it's important to know , otherwise I'll push up my computer a bit till then , because I want nice graphics :D !

I guess it'll be not exactly the same, but it'll be similar to each other.
If I were you, I would wait with upgrading the PC, because if it runs good, you don't need to do that, if not, then are the prices lower. So you can safe some money and then you still could have the same things in your PC or even better ;)

This is true, -and- even if you can't run TM2 full maxed-out on your PC, when you shoot your videos, then everything will be maxed, and it'll still look pretty. I know that's gonna be the case for me...I already can't run stadium maxed out--I can make it look pretty, but once I turn on motion blur then it's all over :P And don't even get me started on the framerate drops in multiplayer!
