I'm happy to announce that last night I finished building my time machine. Last night, without further ado, I climbed aboard to take a test flight. I set the dials for 2009 and began my journey. When I arrived, I found my younger self. He had just learned of a new environment called Valley. He told me it was shown on load screens in TM United Forever. I told him I already knew, and that I was from the future. He tried to ask many things. But I raised my hand as if to silence his questions. He sat there stunned. First things first. I told him to stop playing TM so much and go out and get some sun.

I also broke the bad news to him that he probably wouldn't see Valley until at least 2013. I thought he was going to break down in tears. But I reassured him that it was okay. An environment called Canyon would come first. He asked me if Canyon was any good. I had to tell him the truth. I told him some people didn't seem to get it, and didn't find it very fun. I had to tell him that there were complaints by some that the block selection wasn't sufficient for creating a proper diversity of tracks. But I told him that he didn't have to worry, and that he would love it, and that he would even build some of his best tracks in this new environment. He said he felt relieved and was looking forward to playing it. I dared not tell him that he'd have to wait two more years to try it. He asked why Valley would take so long. I said I didn't know yet and that I was going to investigate further in my journeys into the future.

I didn't know what consequences there would be if I stayed too long. I made my younger self swear not to breath a word of what he had learned to anyone. And I set off on my way. Next stop: the future. I really wanted to learn what ManiaPlanet looks like when it is completed. I wasn't far into my trip when the temporal capacitor exploded and I fell out of the timesteam just as I arrived in the present. It will be years before I'm able to fix it again. I guess I'll have to wait and see the progression of this amazing adventure along with everyone else.

Sometimes that's the best way to get the purist thoughts out.
I'm wondering how much Valley will still look like those early vids of TM2.

EYEBO WRITE A NOVEL! :3

No, but seriously, very insightful story. I like the part  about telling yourself to go outside and get some sun, I would have don the exact same.
