A big stadium map, @ night, with lots of lights everywhere, will bring every computer to it's knees. (trust me, i tried)
It is up to the trackbuilder to make his track runnable.
I assume this will be the same for TM2, where each environment will have certain things that are more difficult to process, and as the moods will also be in TM2 (day/night etc) people will just have to make tracks that run smooth on a large audience's pc if they want them to be popular on online servers.

Re: Enviroments
I dont think it will... think ur gonna need some nice stuff in your computer to get a good flow in the gameplay.dec wrote:I sure hope it will work on my laptop so I can play the game a bit while at University.
And as the gameplay is concerned, I hope that it will really be completely different from all the other TM enironments.
My computer is pretty solid but the new games that are out there today, cant play em with the best grafiks now without some lag.

Yeah, but you gotta remember, Mr. Nadeo himself (Florent--thru Hylis) said that if a computer could run Stadium with a fairly nice L O D, then they could run TM2. It can be scaled, just like the previous games could be.RunSlingan wrote:I dont think it will... think ur gonna need some nice stuff in your computer to get a good flow in the gameplay.dec wrote:I sure hope it will work on my laptop so I can play the game a bit while at University.

Re: Enviroments
So in regards to environments, it is confirmed that people with really good creative skills will be able to pretty much design their own environment using the custom block tools in TM2? Will they be able to make Valley look like, say, a Sci-fi looking place like something found in F-ZeroGX or WipeOut?
Re: Enviroments
For me , the first picture looks like Coast, the second looks like Island and the last 2 look like Desert

Re: Enviroments
Wish the 3rd TM2 Enviroment would be a Big city , with x3 bigger area because it would be cool to put a stadium in the middle of the city
... with alot of twists, loops and many scenery blocks
