Unless NADEO fixes this (and the cam 2 issue) , I'm afraid TM² Stadium will not be as popular as NADEO is hoping to be.
I mean, Those who played this game for years clearly can tell (or call it a feeling) that it's NOT the same physics !

They promised us the same gameplay we all love and hate :O but it Isn't !

If these issues are not fixed by the official release then I'm almost certain that sales will be low and the most (hardcore) stadium players will just go back to good ol' NF

I do not understand , if you want the game the same why the He.. change to stadium2 , stay on TMNF.

I mean people already complaining that they will not buy the game , because it's the same game.

OK - I understand the reason for wanting something new, but as a PF track builder who spent years making them, I want to see my tracks in HD. It's like having an obsession to get the Blu-Ray of some 80s film. Most tracks WILL work from TMNF which is good, but to see this: http://tmnforever.tm-exchange.com/main. ... 54126#auto in HD would be awesome. It only took me about 6 months to make it. I'd also like to see my other PFs like Sin City, and Heavy Metal Madness. To me these are works of art and need to be "Remastered" to the HD system.

Also, I've already began a new PF on TM2 and because the physics are heavier, the car doesn't spin or flip worth a crap to make those loop conversions. So maybe the solution is to offer 2 sets. TM2 and TMClassic with the HD.

If TM2 always has to stay backward compettible there's not enough room for improvement or really new things.

I do have some understanding for those making these statements. After all and in all honesty, right now there is very little difference to TMF. I mean, even the original cars have the same skin as they have had for the last 7 years now ^^ and With all servers hosting the same old tracks from TMF now ported into TM2, there really is not a very big difference. Especially also for those not so interested or caring of Graphics and Visual quality, as that is where the biggest difference is right now.

However, i believe it is important for everybody to understand that this "Project" that TM2 Stadium is a part of, ManiaPlanet, is a work in progress and, may i remind everybody; still in beta.

I feel convinced that given some more time, Nadeo will take the best from TMF and bring it to the Next Level With TM2. This platform basically gives almost endless oppertunities for trackbuilders and 3d-artists which, once this get's more "developed", we will see the result of.

So in short, my point is, it is wrong to judge the game right now as it is not the final Product. A lot more will come.

I would also like to add that the TM-community is one of the most dedicated out there and the Direct two-way communication that goes on here With the Developers is quite unique in this perspective.

We're not really judging, at least I'm not. However, since it's still in Beta, this is our chance to voice our opinions to the developers about the tweaks we'd like to see. I understand that they cannot satisfy everybody, but I trust that they will take the concerns, weigh the options, and hopefully go down the best path.

I cast my vote for 100% identical so old PFs work, but have dozens of new blocks, surfaces and obstacles. That's all TM2 really needs - oh and a legitimate block mixing availability.

Whichever way they go, it doesn't matter, They've already got my order. The question is will I like it. Peace.

Play the track in old stadium and save replay and then you convert your old track to trackmania 2 and then go in to mediatreacker import "still laughing" the replay and click play to watch it, and if you want to share it just upload your video replay on youtube "haha Px tracks - the only reason - haha"

Ohh i was a bit to fast there becouse, You just need to download replay and open it in maniaplanet and then watch replay or make a video of it,
i just tested it and i am watching your pf track in hd right now so the old replay works

I vote for a bug free stadium (stadium 2) if you are change anything.
Why, becouse this below

new players are discover this game, its not made for only us old players that have played stadium for 3000 years.
New players = has no idea about old stadium and will love it. - and stadium was the best environment that i played before i discovered canyon with alot of bugs (bad things) imo, that never got fixed - and for those that find stadium NOW will have alot of fun like i did and after playing canyon sence release it and its still awesome but not as fun as in the beginning, and 10 bucks for a new game is extremly cheap for those that just discover the game, but for us that have played the game for 3000 years its very SHEAP don´t want to buy the game again with only some minor changes like the graphic and such - well don´t buy it.

Imagine how fun it would be with a bug free racing game no enoying bugs to hit, that sounds like heaven to me
and many are against to remove those bugs - no idea why.

If you like them so much, just stay with old stadium and don´t buy stadium 2 _ btw: its still free

and soon a new environment is comming and i hope to have alot of fun with valley to ^^
One thing is sure - both stadium and valley looks amazing and i hope valley is bug free, well if its not you cant fix it becouse there always some that complain about the bug but if its bug free at release no one can say anything,
sounds impossible to do a bug free game - but i can hope
so i have learned its very importent to have the game bugs free from the very start

That is wonderful - thanks for sharing. Sometimes it just takes a bright idea that others don't think of. Could have done without the giggles, but I'm happy now. Peace!!
