Re: List of all known bugs
well, about the cam issue, you might want to create a new topic in the technical support forum about it. nevertheless, a complete reinstall of maniaplanet might do the trick as well.

(custom) engine sounds have a lower pitch in replay mode after a race.
EDIT: When listening more closely, all sounds (brakes, crashes, etc) have a lower pitch in replay mode.
Podium sequence got messed up. Now ending with a view of the map instead of last keyframe.

Re: List of all known bugs
Would just like to say that the "cam" issues I was having previously have now been resolved back to normal "default" view since updates on 21st July.
So , a bug issue or not?? ....... but yiiippppeeeee
i'm back to normal

I opened a replay, the maniaplanet opened, I watched the replay, and I closed it coming back to the main menu, and so the mania home is black...

Re: List of all known bugs
I have got a really weird bug regarding thze car physics with boosters.
I don't have any videos of proof, so I'l try best to explain:
I only tried out the bug with red boosters. I suppose it works with the yellow ones aswell just the effects aren't as dominating.
The bug is the fact that the booster has an effect on the cars acceleration, for a few seconds after you passed it.
Here are a few "symptoms" this bug causes:
Thx for reading and fixing Nadeo
EDIT: I know this bug report seems quite pointless to you, but essentially this breaks boost braking (which sucks, but anyways).

The bug is the fact that the booster has an effect on the cars acceleration, for a few seconds after you passed it.
Here are a few "symptoms" this bug causes:
- When driving through the boosters (try it out with the red ones), the opposite way intended (aka boost brake) the car slows down (and goes eventually backwards, even with keeping accelarating) after passing the boost block.
This also happens if the boost throws you back. "Stepping on the gas" makes you drive backwards.
When after passing the booster you make a full stop (e.g a 180° drift into a wall) the car accelerates like hell again.
- You have to keep accelerating for the period of time you spend on the booster.
The effects vanish as soon as you let go of the gas

Re: List of all known bugs
It's not a bug, it's the wanted behaviour.
Boost braking sucks anyway (just my opinion ^^)

I think I have to disagree. Brake boosting has been used on several great maps in many environments over the years in TrackMania as an added challenge (or help) to the track. Unconventional? Yes. But it is something we are all familiar with, and the coolest usage I ever saw with it was for us in Snow maps where an author would place an ice lake in front of a road with turbos launching you forward across the lake. Then you spin a 180 and end up on road on the opposite side with reverse turbos to launch you back across the lake at a different angle so you hit the next section of track (which really sits to the side of the section you originally entered the lake from.)
It has been used in other cool ways, to ensure that a driver is keeping a certain speed to complete a given section, but allow to slow the car down for a killer curve at the end of that section, etc.
So to say this new way of handling the physics is "wanted behavior" isn't accurate. Especially if what TribeWars is saying is true, where if I get boosted backwards (the tail end of my car is accelerating away from the reverse booster) and I hit my gas (which should try to move the front of my car toward the reverse booster) and it makes me continue accelerating in the reverse direction (the direction the reverse booster launched me) -- then it goes against how TrackMania physics have worked in the past.
So despite your thinking that "Boost Brake' sucks, it is still a part of TrackMania and used to work a different way, and therefore is now defective. I would be open to hear an explanation on the decision to make the new design work this way, but I still think it needs to be changed back.
Thoughts?

Adding one: after installing the update, chat doesn't work. C, T, enter keys that are listed in my inputs do not actually do anything. I cannot access chat in any server I join in multiplayer.
Re: List of all known bugs
You should go to profile and change the key layout again. Chat is on [ENTER] by default since last update.xanatos.chimera wrote:Adding one: after installing the update, chat doesn't work.
