The vast majority of people agree, there's no need to discuss it any more!

But one could get this idea
The simple answer is: Keys from TrackMania do not work with TrackMania².
In the beginning there was a short period where TrackMania logins were reserved in TrackMania², but still a new key was required already then.

most probably none for ManiaPlanet, as the games were just released, except Canyon.
Just check tomorrow again to be 100% sure if there is no surprise.

Hylis, you make some very good points and I respect you for that.
I'm still disappointed that Valley costs 20 euros, as the complaints I have seen regarding handling and visual effects don't seem to warrant such a price. Regardless, as a TM2 Canyon launch customer (And avid Nations player in the past) I know how much fun Trackmania is as a series and would have been willing to pay 20 euros fro TM2 Valley if I knew I would like it.
You must understand that it's very, very upsetting if I pay 20 euros for a game and then I find the handling of the dirt sections so frustrating that I hate to play them and so I don't play the game any more. That's 20 euros, wasted.
Why not activate some trials for Valley once you have re-addressed the handling, like you did with Shootmania?

Most people like the handing of the car that I have spoken to, so I wouldn't expect it to change.

The handling is very diffrent and you should avoid to drift most of the time and release the gas instead of drift, maybe brake without turning but that is hard on technical tracks and the dirt is a bit same as in canyon , but the car is slower so more control but still hard (its not a arcade style game) - you need to find the line but that is the challenge in this game - the hardest maniaplanet title so far to master... i would recomend you to buy it - but don´t blame me if you don´t like it...i just recomend it becouse i like it...will take a while to master this title...so its worth the money, if you dont like the dirt handling - just play non dirt tracks then
or wait and they maybe release a 7 day demo. i don´t say they will but maybe....
compare to sims3 this game is cheap
