So, this whole issue keeps pissing me off since apparently nobody gives a shit about it. Me (and a couple of other bothered players) have contacted Nadeo, either we have received no response or something like "we will look into it".
Same thing has been told 1 year ago when this whole thing started going around, absolutely nothing has happened since then except for more people losing their records to this specific player.
This player keeps setting absolutely ridiculous replays over and over again. The more replays he uploads, the more ridiculous it becomes.
An interesting example is his most recent upload, D15 from the solo campaign. I've had a close look at the replay in the Mediatracker using extreme-close up camera shots onto his wheels and slowmotion and counted the amount of times he tapped the brake DURING a turn without drifting away.
Since D15 is a 10-lapper, I will refer to the first lap for now. Here I counted
32 (!!!!; not 100% sure, in some cases it is incredibly hard to tell with the replay, there might be even more than 32) taps onto the brake in just one single lap, most of the times there have been multiple brake taps in one turn. Towards the end of the first lap, the player braked so often that the car did one giant consecutive driftmark for more than 2 (!!!!!!!) seconds during the turn - without drifting. Does that make sense? Nope.
The same happens in almost every other lap in the same turn as well. The car often shows very weird steering behavior in the turns, sometimes it seems like the player stops steering for a couple of frames, then starts steering again and brakes to instantly get back on line again.
Please download the replay and watch it yourself if you want to have a giggle:

It can't only be observed on named track, but also on various other tracks where he thought he could use his little trick.
This player has also been randomly accused other players of cheating, which is something very interesting indeed.
To be precise, he has been accusing me of using macros and shows quite a high level of knowledge about how macros work and how I possibly used them:

Just a few days later, he accused me and and a teammate again, this time on a track made for the MX advent calendar where the camera is forced up above the car via Mediatracker. He claims we found a way to play with the normal camera.

For me, it is 100% obvious that this player is using third party tools (probably macros) to configure his keyboard in a way it doesn't allow longer keystrokes than needed to perform this brake trick. As edk already pointed out a couple of posts above, it just needs common sense and little understanding of the Valley physics (not even that actually) to see that this is not legit.
I want a proper answer (and solution) from the devs right here, otherwise I see myself forced to make this whole thing even more public and see what the others think about it - maybe then someone wants to discuss this with me.
It is just sad that this issue hasn't been resolved for so long, I remember the incident with Team Carbon before the Shootmania ESWC where the devs apparently have investigated this issue for quite a long time to find out the truth. The same happens in other games: cheaters, even if it's just an assumption, will be investigated and banned if it really is the case. That's, sadly, not the case here. Valley already has very few active players, and patient and dedicated players like me or others are slowly losing faith if nothing happens concerning such issues.
Thanks for reading,
beers
