this topic is about weapons (in SM), Vehicles (in TM2), and Skills (in QM).

anything that has to do with those things. This thread has talked about how violent the game can get. It also has talked about what type of death (mainly for SM and QM) that these items might create.

explosions that send you off a bridge would be awesome btw... i could see a remote detonate that sends 7 or 8 people into the air.

Speaking of deaths...we're assuming it's going to be -fairly- bloodless, right? I'm sure for a game like TM where the cars don't even interact with one another that Nadeo's suddenly going to go all Mortal Kombat on us...

I'm pretty sure that they won't want the game to get given an age certificate, so that defines how it'll be in that way, I would imagine.

My big question about this:
Nadeo wants the game to be the same for everyone (don't get me wrong, i mean equal chances, like all cars in TM have same size/weight/speed)
How can this be achieved if there are diffrent skills and weapons.
The cars only look different, but that would be less interesting for weapons (and skills ?)

Well I see a resolution for your problem by creating different skill level based servers, something like in TM where you have ranked servers, ROC, etc.

Oh no...not quite that basic. I'll bet they'll allow you to go crazy with modification with weapons and stuff...but within set params...like, you can customize your gun any way you want, but a machine gun is still an MG, a pistol is still a pistol, and a sniper is good for killing people far away with one shot :lol: Same with like body armor enhancements and stuff...I bet there will be Bronze Silver Gold and Nadeo levels of some sort with that... :mrgreen: You can't think they won't do away with that prized MEDAL system? :-P What I would really like to see tho would be the re-inclusion of the race ghosts with those godly medal skins...those were badass beyond belief. I know this is for SM but I just thought I'd stick it in here...

This topic bends from one game to another, and thus finds it's home in the ManiaPlanet forum.
That way we can't go offtopic :D

It intrigues me how this equal for all will be ported to SM and QM.
I'm sure it is going to be something new and refreshing. 8-)
