You can believe Omnixor, because it's the same payment model that was used during the TM2 Canyon beta. Buy beta access and you will get automatically being updated to the full version on release date.
Of course I'm no nadeo official, so believe me or not

Today the Open Beta for ShootMania will open. This means you can play it for free.
When the release is there the pre-order versions will be turned into release ones.
If you joined in the Open Beta you will be able to play Royal and Elite when the game is released, because those two will be free at release.
For the rest you'll have to buy the game (then) or pre-order it now.
