Well anyway all must be balanced, if the price of "Planet" are balanced well, all is fine.

No, you can purchase TM-Valley, or TM-Cryo independently.Trackmaniack wrote:Okay...so wait...tell me if I get this right. This is kinda like NSR (nitro stunt racing), right? Where you sell the first "piece" of the game for a main price...then release 'packs' later with new enviros and content for discount prices...and then have the "expanded" editions for full price for new players, yeah?

Maniaplanet will be in both boxes, so you can buy other games later and add them to your game list.
It's not add-ons, it's stand alones that can be gathered.
For the first maniaks, it will look like add-ons because of release schedules. But 3 years later, someone that doesn't know at all TM SM or QM may receive QM-environment2 for christmas, and then hear about the other games played on that planet, and add TM-Canyon or QM-Environment1 as if it's his second game.
Just like you buy games for your gaming platform!
No, until recently (envimix) you couldn't play island with the coast car. Every environment was standalone, but all gathered in Trackmania United, and launched from the same interface.Trackmaniack wrote:

Heh, okay. So now I'm really confused. Are you saying that TM2 SM and QM are all going to be interlinkable? Heh, like you could have airstrikes from SM messing up the TM2 racers or a dragon eating a racer?
Hey I was first with thatFix wrote: No, until recently (envimix) you couldn't play island with the coast car. Every environment was standalone, but all gathered in Trackmania United, and launched from the same interface.
It seems like the idea of ManiaPlanet is pretty original and new at least, since many people don't seem to fully understand it yetZooz on tm-forum wrote: To me it seems like it can be compared to Trackmania United, but for different genres of game instead of for different environments (TM+SM+QM instead of TMO+TMS+TMN).
