Okay, sounds good--but then tell me, how is that different from simply adding more environments?oiram456 wrote:actually it would still be all about skill, because once the trackbuilder decided to make a track (like canyon environment + valley car) it would be like that on all servers, the players cant choose for each track - the builders can!Trackmaniack wrote:That would be good. BUT, that would take away from one of the key points of Trackmania--that it all comes down to driving skill--things wouldn't be dictated by the car you drove.Demented wrote:I'll be more clear.
When creating a new track you can now choose - Sunrise, Day, Sunset or Night. You can also select a mod if you've installed some.
(WHAT IF):
Each environment had two or three vehicles, each with it's own physics, that you could also choose from? IE: Rally, GT, F1, Street, 4x4 Etc...
This way you could create a track based on the physics of the car you chose and when people play the track they would use that car and it's physics. This would give each environment much more versatility.
Did that make more sense?
i likethat idea, tho it would be way to early to implement it imo...

Well yes, but also, each environment comes with unique sets of track blocks. To have the ability to choose the physics to use on any given environment totally changes the way you design and drive it. It expands the possibilities vastly.

I think I just found it where the Valley car comes from

This picture is from 2011, and this is the guy who made it

Notice how they are extremelly look a like

I hope they didn't actually copied this picture to create the new Valley car

The valley car is a car, ofcourse you can find a car that looks partly like it.

Nice find Filipe. An uncanny resemblance.

Anyone know if there is a "SkinDiffuse.dds" template available for it yet?

I highly doubt it. I mean the game seems to be in the pre-alpha stage, if at all (=> NDA).Demented wrote:Anyone know if there is a "SkinDiffuse.dds" template available for it yet?
