besides that, there actually IS a free version. you just have to pay € 9 for the premium features. doesn't sound like a bad deal to me. in the end, it was EXACTLY the same for TMNF with its freezone...

It's not exactly the same: Nations was free.
You could pay for other environments and it would also unlock some functionalities in Nations.

I didn't say that it was a right.

I'm usually very happy when Nadeo launches a new game but, this time, I'm not motivated to buy stadium to replay on a game that I've already played for a long time before.

TM2 Stadium ISN'T Nations!! TM2 Stadium Open Beta is free and you can also, like Nations, pay to unlock some 'functionalities' (it costs € 9 to do that) ... so what's the problem?

I also totally agree with Nadeo's idea of having a FREE and a RETAIL Open Beta with the FREE having the restrictions. It's a little like having a TM2 version of TMNF and TMUF but only in Open Beta format and of course this could change when it goes 'final'. If something is free then accept it graciously .. don't start shouting "I want this .. and I want that" unless you're prepared to pay and support. Theres a free version to try, if you don't like it then just don't buy ... but please don't moan because the full version is not free .... would you work for nothing?




Hopefully Nadeo will keep this restricted free version going to give prospective customers a chance to sample the delights of Trackmania 2. Thanks for Stadium, love it and will buy soon

If you don't want to buy it. Don't do it. Simple as that.

If the game is that complete (you can reach top of the ladder) there's no reason left to buy the full version.

Arguably TMN wasn't free either, it was supported by advertising. The cost was to see uninteresting commercial stuff shoved into the tracks. Presumably paid TM2 Stadium won't have this.

No .. there are some Rounds Servers in there too (VODR Dirt, Electron Stadium, SPAM Dirt Arena, Masters of Dirt etc), and some Laps (BW Top Nascar Fun,CT Dirt District etc) .. and I have the Free version at the moment but will shortly be buying it
