Born, I highly doubt there is any need for turtorials, i mean the game is Easy to begin with, but hard to master right.
In the end i jsut hope everything looks up WHENEVER ill be playing it for as long as there is SOME community.

Maybe from our perspective there is no need, but for new players there's no harm in adding it especially as the menu UI can be confusing enough in itself.

yeah, at some places it can be confusing, but it's only matter of a few minutes to go trough them.
Born, do you have any issues or questions? Or do you want to start such a tutorial?

Many issues, many questions that were brought to nadeo's attention way before this game came out of beta.

I don't see any of your posts with those "many issues and questions", so I'm really wondering what you need for information.
Please specify, or use the search in this forum

I don't need to state them, there numerous threads that people have created stipulating the problems so there's no point me bringing the back up again.
idk how accurate this site is for statistics
http://mania-actu.com/eng/staticpages/v ... Statistics, if they are they player amounts are hardly encouraging, be it that we still do not have the free to play aspect activated two months after release.

ah, I thought you had own points
Yeah. Too bad there is no month/year or more total statistic.
This morning I also checked Steam
http://store.steampowered.com/stats/ and even now there is no ManiaPlanet game listed there.

Best idea ever:
Advertise Free To Play weekends. I know that COD Bo2 has done this a couple of times, and I KNOW that people are trying it out.
I fell for Shootmania instantly, but you should put up some tutorials in-game as well.
I know that Nadeo is against the whole "we don't want people to get the feeling they have to train to play this" part, but when the game launched, I bought the game along with 4 friend. We bought a 5 pack, 3 of my friends instantly dropped it because they said it was too random, with the rockets and so on. The words "no skill needed" was said. Granted this was in Beta 1, but still.
I have tutored close to a 100 players in Obstacle, and they get it SO fast, when it's just explained to them in a proper way. It would not be hard to make the tutorials either, get togheter maybe 5 players for each title, some pros from elite to teach about elite gameplay, a full movement tutorial made by obstacle players? And so on. Maybe have a title called tutorials, which contains several tut videos, that are pre installed just like the Elite, Royal and Storm title? I know that it could be a good idea, I just hope someone picks it up and runs with it

But the videoes needs to be approved, it should not be possible for anyone to upload a video, as the title would be spammed down in the end, but instead take the best of the best and add it
Best Regards

I will whole heartedly agree with the OP because I was once optimistic too. That was over 6 months ago while still in beta. Whoever said that SM will be as big as CS must not have been around when CS started in alpha mod. The game was many times bigger than SM is now.
I believe that the only way to turn it around is either to have a huge modding community, lower price or continue having 3rd party support with tourneys. A good combination of the modding and tourney would be the best way to go. Beyondgaming just had a tourney that brought a little peak in the people playing over the last 2 weeks. It was the first time in 2 months that I had consistently seen games being played on Royal.
The big reason no one plays the game is even when they purchase it, it's hard to find servers with people. Just today, I saw maybe 10 people on once, and that was it. After that, maybe 2-4 people on at spotty times.
If it is too costly to host tourneys, cut out the prizes until the game picks up. I would still play just for the competition.
