What's Your Favorite TrackMania Moment In The Last 10 Years?

Ahh, yes... The day I got the Trackmania box in the mail...
Nearly 10 years ago now, frustrated that there just weren't any good racing/driving games out there with a good track editor, I did a search online and came across one called Trackmania. It seemed too good to be true, and it almost was. I called every store within an hour drive from me and no one had ever heard of it. I'd all but given up when I found a game store that said I could order it from their website and have it delivered by mail to my home. So I did.
Two weeks later a box came in the mail... It was Trackmania!
My Favorite Moment... When I installed the disk and found it was everything I'd hoped it would be and more!

Well, I only got Trackmania United for my 13th Birthday in 2008, I had never heard of Trackmania until then but once I started playing I loved it instantly.

It's difficult to boil it all down to one moment; there's not really been very many I've enjoyed more than any other. But if I had to pick then I guess one of my favourite moments was at the very end of a 1 hour 30 minute laps race at a Stadium version of Magny Cours in TMUF, where I overtook another driver on the last corner of the final lap for 4th place. Joining and creating lots of noob teams in TMU back in 2008, and competing with other noobs who were capable of times worth maximum 500 skill points in solo mode(this comparison just to show you how slow we were ). Hundreds of Polish people in TM back then. Those teams would exist for a month but play 3 matches through their existence.

My favorite moment in TM is when my father showed me the very first TM1 Demo back in 2005, since then I never left the game

The freestyle community in TMU, started in TMSX, I spent most of my time doing tricks and flips, creating huge maps.
It was great fun, no competition, good people to talk with. I died laughing many times at what people could say.

For example, a freestyle map has, more or less, 30 CPs using the whole area of mapping. (picture)
Newcomers to a Freestyle server were always like: "What to do in this ?"
So we were telling them: "It's a labyrinth server, find all the CPs and then, find the finish"
After 1 hour, "THE NEWCOMER BECOMES 1st" .. WAT ? HE DID IT !
And next we started to search the CPs to beat the newcomer so he would feel a challenge.

It was awesome to see the reaction of newcomers, making them do impossible things.
