What are the rulesCerovan wrote:It'll be not in MP4 but in the next update. And yes you'll be able to add a 3D object in map without the need of a custom title (as long as you follow the rules)Harrison_rus wrote:Em. After update MP3 to MP4 I can place object on map and play in it online without custom title? (In standart Canyon for Example)Hylis wrote: - 3d models can be added into maps under some constraints, and I think it's really great for TM!

It will be first constraints of using only title datas and size in Ko. We may quickly go toward others after, making some maps obsolete. So, we will make the trigger to includes items first in the experimental tools, such as mixmapping.

Re: Hello Planet #4

"octet" means "byte" in french, comes from the octo- prefix which means 8steeffeen wrote:what does the o even mean?

Re: Hello Planet #4
Actually, the word "octet" also exists in english and is more accurate than "byte" because "byte" doesn't always equal 8 bits.

Fewer rules, more fun!Hylis wrote:It will be first constraints of using only title datas and size in Ko. We may quickly go toward others after, making some maps obsolete. So, we will make the trigger to includes items first in the experimental tools, such as mixmapping.

It sounds too sudden and good to be true.
Is there an estimated date of release known yet actually?
=3
Re: Hello Planet #4
Fyi, it was first done in 2009. But I expect it next week, or before.

tldr version?
Universal Demo
1) Free 2 play for 1 hour, all titles, unless <100 players present on title.
2) Diversity - enabling Customized Items on all titles
3) Quality - Simplified GUI for demo players with simpler match making
Future:
SM: PowerUp Phase.
- Gameplay update
- competitions abilities to provide ladder points
- works on major modes.
- regular updates and adjustments up to next year.
----
My opinions
Gj with the demo, I highly disliked the invitation system. I'm going to assume most invites were smurf accounts
It's not there yet a step better towards the f2p + premium model. (ie access to most of game, premium gives you full features ie tools, skins, hosting, etc.)
PowerUp Phase; huu? Okay I'll wait and see. Regular patches are ideal, game play updates? Details required !
