Well you are not completely up to date but i see your point ...

In the meantime you can add "embedded" objects to your map but it's limited to 300 KB...

Btw my first post was not about TM Turbo because it wasn't revealed when i posted that thread. Someone put it here afterwards???

And again...NADEO did great work the last 12 years (is it really already 2 years since the 10th anniversary ... wow),
for me the game is on top 3 of the best games i have ever played but it's time to listen to the community and
UNITE ... not SPLIT ...

As i read throught the first infos i was really hyped about TM Turbo but then came the infos which makes me really sad and i hope NADEO will think about that again:

1.) No Maps can be imported ... so we can't use 100.000s of Maps community created over years on TM2
Edit: I just thought of Mr.DVD who alone made over 1.000 Tracks in TM2....
2.) No dedicated servers, which makes the main part of online gaming
3.) means no Servermanager with local records, dedimania records etc.
4.) No embedded objects??? (no blockmixing???) That was the great news last year ... now we cut if off ...
5.) No crossover online playing to PS4 and XBOX ONE ... why? .... THAT would give a boost to online playing ...
6.) And again no boxed version for PC ... you loose a lot of customers with this decision ...

So hard work the community put in this game for years and now we go lots of steps back ....

I understood that TM Turbo is apart from Maniaplanet and there will be TMLagoon for MP4 but do you really think someone who paid 40 Bucks for TM Turbo will come back to MP next year and pay again for the same thing? I don't think so ....

I know you don't like negative posts ... but i am really sad now ...

Thats the difference between MP and Turbo :D .

If you want

1.) To import maps
2.) Dedicated servers
3.) A Servermanager with local records, dedimania records etc.
4.) Embedded objects and blockmixing.

Open MP and its all there!

What would remain of MP if TMT has all these things?

So to continue all these awesome communitythings MP is still here for you where we go on with everything.
Probably Lagoon will also soon arrive and then you can have even more environments to drive on.

Just see TMT as a seperate thing, just build for console players where they had to also make a pc-version.
If you want to play TMT as well of course, thats really nice.
If you want to make new tracks with awesome embedded blocks, just pick for example one the beautiful blocks that have been made already ( viewtopic.php?f=265&t=13953&start=100) and start up MP and have fun !

TMT is for gameplay, only gameplay...

MP is for creativity and gameplay. All functionalities from TMT will go on MP4. (at least it's possible to made them because 100% of the HUD and the gameplay are made using Maniascript and Manialink). The only thing different between TMT and MP4 is the multiplayer.

And, as it have been said on Hello Planet 5, a TM² environnement will be give to the owner of TMT (I'm sure it's Lagoon but I cannot find where I read it)

Now, what is the point of view of MP from a new player?

It's too complicated, MP has evolved and new players can be easily lost in this universe.

TMT is a simple MP. 1st to give to TM a relunch and 2nd to redirect players who wants only gameplay. Yes, the community will be splitted, I'm okay with that, but with new players, there will be 50% on TMT (new players 95% + player lost on MP 5%) and 50% on MP (old players 80% + new players who want to create more 20%)

And last thing, Ubisoft is just a financial boost, MP, TM and SM is always own by NADEO. Ubisoft is only the editor, it owns only the logos and trademarks.
