Good point, but one could say: this is avoidable if u break a little bit later and tadaa.
_Junky wrote: The problem with changing the gameplay when your game is so close to release is that if you change one little thing it might affect the balance of the whole game. For example if you add air control it might make some tracks much easier to complete, so they'd have to recheck every single map of the Solo mode and recreate the ones that are made easier (same for the hundreds of multiplayer maps that have already been created by users).
Also they'd need to spend many hours with players in order to determine the right amount of air control, and honestly it's too late for that.
Seriously: when tracks get that much easier with air control there would need to be some really nasty jumps in it and this track isn't the best anyway.

Also as far as i know there's not yet a release date; so I wouldn't mind 4 more weeks to get airbreak and this controler thing i mentioned in the beta feedbacks forum...
If you wanna play u can preorder (nadeo gets the money anyway) and the others get a better game.

In the end some act of desperation:
PLEASSEEE NADEO these two features will highly improve the game!
Do we need to start an online petition to proove the support of the community? ;)

Umm, are you sure Nadeo gets the profits from selling. If I understand anything about game industry, Ubi gets the money and Ubi pays Nadeo crew their salaries.

Have you guys played ExciteTruck for wii? I think there was fair aircontrol, and I was kinda expecting Nadeo to go little more that way. More freedom of control, more places to improve skills.

Well, the solution to this is to eliminate those bugs and not to remove a feature instead... :o

FFS. It's not a bug! :teub: For Christ's sake. If you land perfectly flat in Stadium, the chassis clips with the track and wigs out. The simple solution? Don't land -perfectly- flat. You can still land nose-high and not lose any speed. Further, they removed the airbrake to give a new challenge. This isn't just a big middle finger from Nadeo, they're not trying to owned you over because they can, they're trying to add different types of features. Did you notice in the original TM, was there an airbrake? Nope. In real cars, is there an airbrake? Nope. See where I'm going with this? There have been non-airbrakes before there was an airbrake. Yeesh.

Hmm, can I ask how many here realizes canyon actually has this function? It's just slower (again, skill is involved, and it just looks better than instant rotation stop).

I totally agree!
Thats one reason that makes tm so great:

It's different from other games; please don't make it an off-the-shelf game
