Truth be told, I'm not sure how I managed to carry the author names over earlier today. That's the price I have to pay for daydreaming when doing imports. But now that my guide is out in the wild, the best option would be for authors to import their own tracks. I will continue importing tracks, but only when I have permission to do so.

Edit: Looking back on my import history, I see that the author has carried over on other tracks too. My guess at the moment is that author names carry over at random, as I've tried to replicate this using various methods now without luck.

Edit 2: A new, better way of converting tracks with original validated times and author has been shared over at the TM subreddit.
