If you enter a titlepack ( lets say Elite ) and you go to "profile" you will find an option to disable chat. Click the checkbox, join a server and voila. It took me 3years to find this button and I'm using it when I'm playing cups.
About muting : Yes please. But add some basic communication options like you see in CSGO, OVERWATCH etc using shortcuts.
press x + 1 = rush
press x + 2 = fall back
press w + 1 = nice one!
etc
A big +1

Little input :

"To join the experiment, you'll need to upgrade your CS:GO account to Prime status. Just click the UPGRADE button below, which will bind your Steam phone number to your CS:GO account (provided it qualifies, see the F.A.Q. below).
"If you own multiple CS:GO accounts, be sure to upgrade your favorite one since you can only upgrade one CS:GO account to Prime status with your qualifying phone number.

Please stay on topic, people here's don't give a damn about CS;GO right now, to talk about that use private messages.
The main point is they're ruining the ladder and making beginner players leave, so that's exactly why they shouldn't have access to certain servers in the first place.

this is about the topic because it's about players of CSGO that verify their account with a phone number will be queued together.
Because you can verify only one account with a phone number, you prevent the smurfs somehow (or at least they play between each others)

Simple limitations would be enough, their main purpose is to do crap on the ladder servers and so. You can't prevent creation of more accounts, as they'll always find a new way to make more, but blocking them from playing there, where they want to ruin the ladder would solve the issue a bit more effectively.
Besides, you can ask a friend or family member to verify with phone number, and you have the same sh*t as usual.

How about adding ignore button to the chat?
Yeah, I don't see why this isn't a thing yet. Can you just give us an easy two-click way to (personally) mute players on a server? Also a button to hide the whole chat would be great - I know there is a setting in the options but sometimes I just want to hide the chat for a moment, I don't want to leave the server, change the settings and rejoin to do that.
At least an ignore button would be a minimum requirement. Since people get insulted for everything they do in the game. This really takes the fun out of it.
Also ville,i know that in elite you can hide the chat and only read it when you press 'c' (Standard button for opening 'complete chat'). You can do this by pressing F8 in-game and then settings and disabling chat r something. This way you can still type etc. But if needed you can also just hide chat and ignore it. As far as i know, this only works in Elite?

XAseco already has an existing command in TM, but I think it only works in certain versions. You just type /ignore or /mute and the person is muted only for you as far as I know. On some servers it's a personal mute, on others it starts a vote so I didn't use it.

We're going to do a modification on the free players accounts next week:

That's because
/mute and
/ignore are two different commands and manage separate muting lists.
/mute (and related commands) is only available if plugin.muting.php is enabled and handles a player's
individual list of muted logins programmatically.
/ignore (and related) operates on the built-in
global ignore list by the dedicated server (similar to the guest list) and indeed starts a chat-based vote just like
/kick etc, although the admin can also directly add a login to the global list.
These work in TMF and TM2 in both XAseco(1) and XAseco2.
