TheBigMiike, have you considered Chromium? I heard it is open source. Chrome is partly based on it so there is a good chance it might be usable but I have no idea.

Yep, I'm using Chromium ;) and it's exactly Chrome but without Adobe Flash (Installed manually) and Google add-ons. And yes, it's open source but despite of this, we can't really check what they do.

I'ld love to see a light web browser. My computer became old, I don't trust in Chrome and Firefox is too slow.

I tried Globe Browser b1, my feedback :
- Interface looks ugly
- The browser engine is old (IE7)
Hm yes, but sometimes I get this red sites - if a wrong certificate, idk^^

Then an included sequrity-system or a plugin-"adapter" would be required.

About the interface: Okay, he used some custom (not baad) icons, but in my opinion, sometimes he was too lazy to place them exactly/on the right place

The pre-pre-pre-alpha-bug-lag-alpha-pre version I gave you long time ago had totally bad UI
I prefer script, not interface
I haven't talent for design

BTW:
My browser has java auto-update checker: ImageClick here for non-cut img

had exactly the same interface - i would improve it, because a browser has to be user-friendly, like tps, programs etc

Hello

- I have no idea for the ui, today I picked browser, bookmarks, tools and more (whole menustrip1) into one of the icons on header ;) (and yes, the image I posted is old)
- this is thing what is very hard editable (the browser needs some dlls or other files if uses other search engine and as I said it's portable app, so you can just copy the exe file and use it everywhere without any installation or other files)

Thanks for your feedback :thx:
