Cool stuff. Not entirely sold on the graphical improvements shown in the screenshot comparisons yet, but since it's a WIP and they're still jpegs, my opinion here isn't very useful.
Keep up the good work, and thanks for this preview and the previews to come!

The focus was on performance there. DirectX 11 & 64 bits evolution will then help for the future.

Really hope this stops my game crashing over the years of playing tm,
could never find out the problem, think every graphic cards all been GTX series by Nvidia, all had hated tm but me i put up with it, love tm..
Windows 10 pro 64bit running DX 12 will that be ok ?
hope at some point the in game editor "painter" will be fixed this time. as the distorted of images, spoils that tool.
example add the round item looks like a egg !!!
?? can we be apart of the Beta please ??
pc stats below.

I hope shootmania will get more optimization especially on the networking part.

Things are looking good for the future.
Question: Will the new rendering system void all my saved replays or will they be compatible with MP4?
I ask because I race against saved replays and have thousands of them.

This has been said many times on Discord, but not on the forums.
Nadeo is finally showing us what they are doing with their games (to be honest, it started year ago with Turbo previews, but k).
There is just one problem - players are hungry of new content, as nearly nothing new has came to the games since over 2 years (with exception of Chase tests and Turbo ≠MP). You (Nadeo) subtlety announced us about week ago, that we are going to get some preview of what is coming - the community got hyped (you know, new content - woho!).
It was really disappointing for many players that first preview was about performance improvements - everyone was waiting to see new gameplay features - magnetic items, walking on walls, vehicles in SM - and we got exactly the same information we got when Turbo came out. Yes, probably Fix or Cerovan made a post about 70% of the content in the recent blog post - we knew that blocks and render were optimised, as someone from Nadeo told the display cost difference between MP3 and MP4 on some really expensive map (> 70kC). Besides this, even Hello Planet #5 spoiled most of the system-related stuff which were included inside of the post.
No offense, but if you would want to show you what is done for MP4 - it should be teaser or upcoming gameplay and creation features, not performance improvement, thought it is still very good to have, but it was obvious as it's an upcoming update we even knew that before.
In summary - the only new thing that the #1 preview introduced is complete Stadium reskin and lower grass bushes in Valley.
