Harest wrote: 28 May 2019, 06:23 Easiest fix is to simply use the standalone executable of ManiaPlanet instead of the Steam one. Though you may still have some as i have every now and then, but probably caused by my setup and what i had in the background in my case. Generally when i close most of the stuff in the background (like severals tabs opened in Firefox, including some with regular refreshs via websockets/else) there's no microstutter.
I tried, the thing is that I still have to manually go offline on Steam.

Even if I use standalone ManiaPlanet, I have to exit Steam or just go offline.

I don't get the link.

Probably you have installed the standalone version as is and did not care to separate the user data, which are now shared between both versions.
It's only a guess.

And your guess is probably right.

How do I separate the user data?

Either during the installation of the standalone version,
or later using the launcher. At the help button you can select where to place personal and game data.

Thank you TMarc, it's all good now!

I'll wait for the fix on Steam while using the standalone version.

I can confirm on latest may update windows 10 Pro x64 there's loads of stuttering while using the steam version.
I tried the standalone - bam smooth 110 fps on maxed out settings no stuttering.
