Yes you install the beta4d, and after that you update directly from the game or by using link on forum

Tried installing via the downloader and it just hangs on the install for me to.

Don't try the downloader it has some problems, you can installed by the other method you have received by mail

I'm updating to the retail version now, I think the game will work now. I'll let you know how it goes.

Have same problem.

Am running win7 and hiend gaming pc.

I disable AntiVir, run as admin and it freezes at TMCanyon.park.

Then I wait. And wait. Nothing.

Taskmanager indicates same cpu usage and same usage of memory over time, so I believe it definitely has crashed.

Hangs at TMCanyon_HD.zip

ran as admin, disabled firewall and turned off AV... still nothing.

Not impressed

Graphics Card: GTX 580
Ram: 16GB
OS: Windows 7 x64
CPU: Core I7 3.4GHz 2500k

Yes that first link worked.

If they know this is a problem with the installer why don't they just put that link as the download instead of using the broken installer.

Thank you! Had the same problem, but this worked. Have to install this and download the stuff from ingame instead.
