I don't think it's fair to say they are trying to grab money from us. We've been spoiled by NADEO in the past, where they have given us so much for our money. Now that they are still charging us a reasonable price for the single environments, it certainly feels like a "worse" deal but I don't think it is in comparison to other games on the market.

I think we had it too good for too long, and that's why this feels worse.

Remember, the TMU/TMN -> TMUF/TMNF update represented a lot of work for NADEO was was totally free. I think it's very unfair to now accuse NADEO of wanting to rob us for all out money.

I never had any experience in this game's payment model before but I thought I was purchasing the full sequel from preordering

Guys im a little stuck! .... In single player how do i challenge for the official time on a track? ... Ive done it once but cant remember what ive done lol, I cant seem to find any option to let me challenge the official time!

Please help.

Get a gold medal on the track once, then simply re-play the track. Once every 5 minutes it'll then nag, errr, ask if you want to do an official run...

You preordered the TM² Canyon. You got the multiplayer beta for TM² Canyon and you get updated to the full version when it's out... which is now. So you got what you paid for.

The thing is, there are more titles coming down the road. You didn't pay for those... yet. But I bet you'll want to.

Bang_Bang, those are NOT environments. Those are MODS. Environment Mods only change the textures of the environment. They're not "new environments". A new environment has new physics, new car handling, a new set of building blocks.... and yes... new textures. So a mod is only one part of that, and mods are unofficial anyway. Environments are official.

Been waiting for this game for two years, severely disappointed, could not agree with the OP more. Yes it's called "Canyon", but who honestly bought this thinking they were getting 1/3 of a game? It's a shame that the OP has apparently offended many of you, but many of your responses are daft.

There's as much content in this game as there was in the free Trackmania Nations Forever and as someone who's bought and loved every Trackmania game since the first one, I can honestly say that this is a massive disappointment, and I regret buying it. I'll not buy a Nadeo game on nothing but good faith again, that's for sure!
