my internet went down today.
i almost got annoyed because i thought the game required a connection to play [forgot about the master servers being off the other day in my moment of rage, too!]
however i was a little more patient, and after a reasonable delay i was rewarded with the prompt to play offline. It did take longer than i expected to realise there was no internet, though.
