Bad start for expensive game! They just thinking about our money, nothing more...

I have discovered something good for everyone TMU still works so I am heading over there for the time being

I baught the game 1 hour ago... I have never connected, you must connect once before you can play online or ofline.. I am completely locked out, that my kind sir is DRM

Back to Topic: It may look to you like a bad DRM System, but the Master Server is actually the Thing that manages all your Ranking, your LadderPoints (Multiplayer), Your SkillPoints(Singleplayer), your Planets and more things too.
For that it will need to identify your Copy as legit once to enter in the System so that Masterserver knows your ACC exists.
Now it does feel like DRM to you, but it isn´t meant to be a DRM.

BTW, if any1 is curious what happens when you haven't played TM2 before and you try to play when master server is down: http://youtu.be/rXGXn4jjNks, I am just trying to prove that I can't play any aspect of the game

The stat server isn't DRM, making the game unplayable if it is down is DRM (prime example, you don't own game, so u unplug internet and try to play, because you have never connected before you can't play as you can't see the stat server)
