I dont get it.. How can one be smashed and one bee clean and still be beside eachother?
Even roof damage equals laying on the roof. The driver of the red must be a very slooow driver..

I'd love to have some damage in the new game
could turn out in some great wallpapers for the graphic artists

collisions would kinda destroy the fun from TM for me
but well, there's already stated that there won't be any so that makes me satisfied about that part already :p

The damage in TM2 will be purely cosmetic, similiar to TrackMania Original. You could hit stuff and your car would deform a bit, also doors would open.

I have this cosmetic collisions all the time!

What if, when you get past a CP the car repairs.

I think it's not from a colision with another car. In my Opinion it looks like as if you can take damage when you hit a wall or an obstacle.
It would be awesome, but if it's not only optical, there won't be any PF maps in Tm2

Well, even if it changes car physics, if you hit something at the same speed, in the same angle, it would give the same effect each time you do it.
Just need to finish before the car is "dead"

Never noticed that. If ther's damage, broken glass is a must be, imo.
