Even though rain, maight be the same as sun as far as the driving physics are concerned, things like fog will change the game play because you want be able see as far as you could. I know it might seem a bit pointless to have rain if it doesn't affect the handleing of the cars, but, like it's been said, it would still look cool

Sorry for necropost...but it could be that you had a fog that only affected the edges of your vision, and merely dulled all the colors to a washed-out gray. Like for example take staduim. It would only start to get foggy at around the edges of the map, around the lights and such. And everything else would just be gray.

Isn't something like this already possible, if you use the MT? I mean by setting up different gfx colours? I don't have a clue about it, but maybe some MT geek can do it

Yeah it is possible. I did this already sometimes. And it's also not difficult to do as you can see in the video

sadly there are some bugs in it

Yeah. This guy overmade some things, I mean he shouldn't have to make those non-realistic colors, but still good video.

I think having a lightining effect with cloudy weather and rain all at once would be pretty awesome (Flashes with cool lighting in replays with great, filmlike mediatracker camerawork anyone?

). Maybe they could make it so that when it rains, the track is a little more slippery.

it would be cool if ther was rain (and lightning of course

) and when you are on the track there is water shooting out from under the wheels like in stadium when you are driving on dirt
and the road is a little bit glossier because of the rain
all cosmetic of course

All because of the MT
