To answer your questions:

- you have purchased the game.
Yes. I have the confirmtion email with receipt. My credit card has been charged. I have an email with my activation code AND an email with my product key. I've been playing for about 4 days.

- you have installed it Yup.
Been playing for a few days now.

- you have created a ManiaPlanet account (but how? it should already ask for a key already then?)
The key was valid previously. NOW it says it's deactivated.

- you can't select any title nor play anything
So now when I log into maniaplanet (Play Maniaplanet), i get a Trackmania screen that says "GET THE FULL VERSION" (which I have to close to get the main screen, this never happened before). I then get to a screen where it has a picture of Shootmania and Trackmania game covers. When I click Shootmania, it asks me to load to the system. It then asks for a product key. It's rejecting my key telling me that it's not activated. Very strange as the entire interface changed....No updates were installed after the innital update before I started playing the game after purchase.

- even on the player page you can't use the key
Exactly. It rejects my key.

And yes, when I put in my key I CAN get a new activation code. That's the only thing that works.

My account was fine, active, etc. until yesterday. Then all of a sudden my interface changed and it's saying I have to load Shootmania back onto the system. When I try and do that with my provided key it rejects the key both in-game and on the Player page.

Ok, at least you were able to play, this is good.

To give you a last quick answer before Nadeo does: here I suspect a master server issue (like there were a few recently).
I can understand your frustration, but I have to ask you to be patient a bit more.

Can I not talk to anyone over the phone?
I have LAN tonight! Don't want to have to purchase the game twice! :(

Sorry, it is week end and night over here in Europe.
There is no phone support as far as I know, but some developers will most probably read today.
Please don't despair, you will be able to play on many other lans in future :thumbsup:

Now I've tried two cards to try and purchase another copy of the game and it's saying payment is refused.
You guys have a LOT to work on. I appreciate the help but this is ridiculous.

EDIT - I found that this is because I used the same email to try and purchase.
I used a different email and it worked. Another bug...C'mon guys!

The new key worked by the way.

Since TM2 and SM has been added to Steam, I decided to go look for my keys. Unfortunately I had lost them and after browsing the forums, decided to contact Ubisoft support at http://support.ubisoft.com. I have two questions to this.

1. They said they can only retrieve TrackMania 2 keys at this time. No ShootMania keys which I happened to buy in a three pack for friends. If I were to contact support.maniaplanet.en@gamesplanet.com, would I be able to get those keys as well?

2. They asked for not only my username and email, but my password as well. Is this normal? Because while your ManiaPlanet login is different than your Uplay login, their site states that, "You are responsible for your password. Never give it to someone else! Just seems a bit odd to be asking for passwords.

They should be able to help you out for retrieving your ShootMania Storm keys. Can you please send me the same message by email?
This is normal that they ask for your password because they need proof to return a player key. So don't worry ;)

I bought my copy of Trackmania 2 Canyon on steam this friday, but I did not get a key. :(
No email or anything, just an email about Steam Purchase.
How far have you come to solve this problem with Steam users not getting a key? :(

same problem here..i just bought shootmania on steam and did not get a key..
Just the Purchase E-Mail from the Steam Store...

When creating your account, you should receive an email from maniaplanet giving you your validation code. You were also invited to copy and paste your login and validation code when creating your account. You only need your validation code to spend planets. Moreover your key is automatically activated on your player page.
And you don't need your player key when launching maniaplanet without Steam to play with your account. You only need to enter your login and your password.
