i think the main reason, you cant play with an offline account, is , that like in tmu many people just downloaded the game somwhere and played on "hacked" servers - which basically means , they didnt have to buy the full game.

In TM2 if u like to play, online or offline u need to buy the game for everyone who wants to play, (if they like to play simultan)
and 20 euro btw is not much - 3 people = 60 Euro, thats the standard price nowadays for normal games

Yep, that's true, but I paid for the game and don't see any reason I have to be online to create tracks for myself and race on them by myself or to use the car painter. If that never get's fixed, I'll never update to MP2.0 which means I may not get to play Valley (if it's online only) and that makes me sad . I've returned games to the store before because they were online only. I assume it's only a temporary issue with MP2.0 though.

Still it's a silly concept in my opinion. You can't map offline. You can't create an offline account for duo maps. You can't play offline (which is very convenient if you want to train a map for a league match but don't want others to see that you are online).
Hopefully there will be a change in the soon future.

Many people may not understand this but, my gaming pc is strictly an offline computer. I only go online with it to activate or update. I mostly do this to free up processing power for gaming and multimedia processing and to keep the pc clean and virus free. If I choose to play any game online regularly that means I compromise my entire system.

if I like the footage and informations probably yes

but I also liked the informations about Canyon, but then when alpha started I realised that Canyon was not worth it

actually pretty lame that Nadeo doesn't say anything when they aren't in their old release plan schedule
