Game looks interesting, but I hope this will not be the end of competitive TM (as little as it is already, this might be final blow).

From the looks I highly doubt TMT is gonna be competitive in any way. Maniaplanet will be the place for competitions.

Not everybody is rich... just go see how much TM:United cost on steam/uplay... for ~8 YEARS OLD GAME!!!

All 3 parts of TM2 are not cheap together and now we get TM:Turbo >.>
Agreed.

I agree, though splitting the community even more is such a bad move.

My only other thought about this is remembering how many Stadium players felt about TM2S. Like, they already had TMF and TMUF and felt they were rebuying a game they already owned for what amounted to a few custom blocks and minor, almost unnoticeable gameplay tweaks. I never played Stadium much so didn't give that idea much consideration.

Now with Turbo, I kind of feel like I'd be the one rebuying 3/4 of the same environments for what may just amount to some custom blocks and minor, maybe even unnoticeable gameplay changes. And knowing how creative this community is, any of the new blocks in Turbo will probably find a way to the ManiaPlanet titles. So, it leaves me with the impression of paying $40 for Lagoon.

Although, I'm not trying to be sour about the whole thing, Turbo does look exciting. However, the price point in terms of content, and coupled with UPlay... they equal some reservations to say the least.
