Start Block

Use the Multilap dirt block. Just set the lap setting to 1 and place a finish.
(The arena multilap block works the same way.)

ET will also launch the first Valley competitions right after the summer break. We'll have Valley-only competitions, but also (of course!) the TM2 World League, played on both Canyon and Valley.

Well, I know the effect on timeattack servers when you put a multilap block and the map ends with a finish block that the timeattack mode counts this as "flying" round - you understand?
Is this "problem" still in Maniaplanet too with timeattack? I don't know^^..

Yes, it is. You get a valid time, but the car does not stop and the round is not ended, you have to reset manually. Really annoying.

Why is Valley not anymore available on steam search? Both in the application and in the website I can't find Valley, however the direct link to it still works?

A bug from Steam I think.

I still think that Nadeo is making wrong choices with the development of trackmania 2. Sorry to say this, I'm no hater, I love the serie, but everybody I talk to i'm close with doesn't like the development of trackmania 2.
I think you should build forward on the very popular stadium. We all know people like stadium the most and this is where trackmania has become very popular.
If I where Nadeo I would put all my energy in a stadium 2 (yes, here we go again) with way more grazy blocks then the more serious approach then Canyon and Valley. Instead of all energy in 3 TM2 games, just 1 great game.
And about Hyllis, sorry to say this, I think you believe to much in your "refreshed" TM2. Only a couple of forum members like the new games, the most servers are empty. I say listen to the masses and go for Stadium 2 or some other more wild and wakky less serious approach version of TM with way more block combinations.
And you can say: "yeah stadium is free to play, thats why there are more people in the servers". Thats not what I think, people don't waste there time on playing games that they don't like, even if its free to play.
Sorry if i sound negative, I'm not, this is how I think about it.

What has changed your mind since november 2012 ? Only because you dont see as many players as in TMNF ?
Valley is just 1 week old and a lot of players are also playing in the offline mode. If you want to make it more busy write to the big gaming sites and tell them about it, tell your friends about, organise competitions
like
ET Forum News. Its not only up to Nadeo to fill the servers, the players have to fill them, and its up to the community to make it attractive!
A lot of players love to play Canyon, and now a lot of players also love to play Valley. Should it all stop just to develop Stadium more? Do you really think more players join Stadium just because there are 3 or 4 more blocks added? People join to play and to have fun and its nice when there are more blocks available but its not the main reason they play.
Greetz,

Talk to me

. TM2 Stadium was a nice addition to MP and Stadium should be kept alive for sure, but I'm very happy that Nadeo did something new with Canyon and Valley. We cannot forever stew in our own Stadium-juice

.
