In the ESWC tournament, everybody will bans Mindcontrol, assaulting & ricochet, so this mappool is great !

Now, only 1/2 teams will train this shitty maps to counter the mappool.
and when the players will play assaulting or another shit map, viewers will laugh about the game for many reason :

-Map so big, attacker will lose 20/30s to be front of defenders
-Arrow will be imba...
-Random hitting rocket with red block (like ricochet)
-Attackers will wait 10s to regen 2 life, viewers will sleep :)
-Viewers will see stupid defense on the pôle (will defend 5% of the map, because the maps are too big to back up on the pôle   )

From what I have read in this thread NADEO said to ESWC that the current map-pool promoted defensive play and was not spectator friendly.
You misread, actually ESWC asked the mapmaker from nadeo to do a good selection of maps according to their criteria. They asked him to do it because they knew easily how to reach him.

Your post may reflect your opinion which is interesting, but please read the thread before posting, what you wrote has been said many time in this thread and is now clearly outdated since the debate is closed and ESWC changed their mind to now make a poll opened to everyone in order to chose a new mappack.

Thank you though for your enthousiasm about Shootmania and esport in general, see you at the ESWC :) .
Why did you say this if it was not true? NADEO once again dropping the ball...

Troll ESWC post aside, it doesn't detract from the fact that Nadeo have doomed their own game. Its sad, as SM could have really been the one to kickstart the arena FPS genre again :(

inb4 i get attacked by nadeo staff

But... but... but.. Nadeo are moving forward, and they're saying "so long" if you don't want to move forward with them.

But all kidding aside, it's a shame they don't realize they'll kill the competitive community of Elite with their actions, which currently is what.. 50% of their playerbase?

And with that, there won't be many invitation sent out for their fake F2P-system as well.

RIP SM.

On a serious note, this ^ (played them earlier tonight and OH MY GOD! If focus is more on maps looking good than being playable that's just another proof Nadeo were more involved in ESWC than they admit on this forum. PapyChampy and Nadeo have alwasy been the ones pushing for "nice looking" maps, never anyone else. Everyone else has always been about playable maps, except perhaps Bas which I only know for his submission to a certain map pack with Cloudlight, another unplayable Elite map)
