Thanks Mirery, I never saw that section on the dedimana page.

Btw. I got my server yesterday finally up and running. A server running on the same PC as the game seems to be tricky to get running. First start the appache server, then the mysql, then the game, then the dedicated, then expansion ...
Strange is that I can't start the appache server when skype is running, but I can start skype when the appache is running. My question now would be if this is a security issue when skype an appache use the same ports.

And after adjusting the HUD after my needs, I would like to know if it is possible to move the "Mapname, author and time" into the scoreboard section? Or alternatively if it is possible to decide if this plugin shows coloured nicknames/track names or just the colourless variations. Reason behind this is that some nicknames are really badly formatted and really disturb the eye when driving.

Else I'll be trying out more and provide additional feedback :)

Hi, Skype by default uses the port apache needs(80). Starting skype after apache makes it automatically switch to another port as it sees that port 80is used. From experience I would say start everything even the game before starting Skype or configure Skype to a port manually.

Can you give an example of bad formatted nicknames. We run full utf8 there shouldn't be an issue. I am not sure what you are trying to move where. :D

I've played in our server Battle 90k, there were 28 players. Expansion was really slow (for clicking and moving the simpleadd thing)
But I have a really bad internet connection at home, I also had huge lags in the game.
I dont know if its a bug or not, maybe its only my slow connection.

EDIT: is it possible in Battle to do a "dynamic pointlimit" so that the team with 2 points difference will win? for example 3:1 or 2:0 and so.

As Oliver said, some testing is being made for UI and widgets, the idea is try to make the widgets UI as simple as possible, this is why I introduced the auto-hide for widgets. It supposed to be disabled by default, but it wasn't. Have to say, since I don't know how to reset persistent variables to default state without doing full re-install of the game..

Anyway from the feedbacks, it looks like auto-hide works very good on TA & Rounds, possible Cup, but not with Laps. Also as noticed the LOL and RPG servers are problematic since the widgets change state too often, due lots of restarts and due your car speed is low... and it looks just bad.

Idea of this was to make the widgets more unified, looks like it's not good after all :(

Fixes so far for the new features:
* Autohide is set to disabled by default
* Records widget didn't update realtime: should be fixed, though impossible to test alone.

Roadmap towards 0.9.8.x release:
* put the nickname colors back
* change the map ratings totally to support the yes/no system + keep backwards compatibility with database, update widget, update chat bindings
* rename widgets_clock to widgets_mapinfo and create new clock widget
* listen the feedback on which direction to choose with the tests + implement more of your wishes, if you got any

Question ? Is it so that the track records driven are only stored after map change ?

Because we are running an Rpg server with a time limit of 2 hours and our server shut's down at night and records are not stored on the last track ! same hapens when i do /admin restart manialive and go to the next track.

Hi, yes it saves only on map end, I will fix the issue where it doesen't save on manialive restart. I will think about a something that saves them a bit more often for rpg servers.

/adm saverecs also saves records. But indeed a ontick for every 3600 seconds can be helpful.
