For each thing Nadeo implement, there's a bug for it

Step 1: Use either shortcut of F11 or alt+enter to get into fullscreen.
Step 2: Use the other shortcut to 'try' to get back to windowed mode.
Step 3: Alternate between alt+enter and F11. The game stays in fullscreen mode :)

When I switch from Shootmania to Trackmania 2: Canyon, I can't spec anyone, the camera just stays at the start and players are invisible.

Also my TM2 is still freezing about 4 times a day, where can I post freezelogs so this can be solved (in total I think it froze over 200 times :\\ I can't believe I'm still playing it myself :P)

I think I've seen what you describe, but I wonder if it's a little of a misunderstanding of how it works. I seek clarification from Nadeo because I thought it was a three way toggle.

Example:
I set my windowed resolution to 1920x1200 (the same as my full screen resolution.) Thus, when I first use either shortcut to go to windowed mode, it still appears to be in full-screen mode, but it really has gone to windowed mode in full 1920x1200 resolution. (I know this because I can move my mouse out of the monitor to my other monitor (say email or IM application) and click into it without minimizing the ManiaPlanet window (which would happen if in full-screen.)

I then use either shortcut again and it switches to a smaller window (not sure what resolution it is) that I can move around and resize. Hitting either shortcut again (F11 or Alt-Enter) will put it back in full-screen 1920x1200.

Is this what you're seeing as well, Voyager006?
And Nadeo, is this what we should expect to see?

Thanks!

No, not really i guess. My version is about alternating between the different shortcuts. I can repeat this action as long as i want - the game stays in fullscreen unless i use the same shortcut twice.

Originally, using either shortcut makes the game full-screen, and using the same shortcut will switch into windowed again.

Keep in mind that i have a single-monitor display so i can't really test your situation. :)

Ah, so it sounds like in a single-monitor situation, having "full-screen windowed" isn't really a benefit because your goal is to get to other windows that you can only get to on the same monitor.

In a multi-monitor scenario the full-screen windowed is nice because you still get the benefit of having it take the entire screen but can move your mouse to another window on another monitor without having to hide the game or have it in a smaller window.

I hope Nadeo will have a good workaround for you and others in the same situation, or an option to disable full-screen windowed. Best of luck! :pil

Oooh i get it now :3

Alt+Enter switches between normal fullscreen and normal windowed mode
F11 switches between fullscreen windowed and normal windowed mode
Alternating between Alt+Enter and F11 in fullscreen simply switches between normal fullscreen and fullscreen windowed :D

Found it out because skype notifications suddenly appeared when i constantly used F11 :P

Thanks for clarification

i have posted this terrible bug in it's seperate thread in the beta forum as well, but repetition never hurts:
i don't know since when this bug appeared, since i've been inactive for a while, but at least it didn't use to be there.

when opening a replay in the replay editor, and saving it again (having changed nothing or a lot, doesn't matter), the ghosts lose their 'race time'-property, thus lose their ability to be imported as ghost, to be raced against, practically everything what a replay is useful for.
