I don't see the problem here. The first one, I can't understand as Stadium does not run on my PC

i don't see a problem for nadeo to fix that
tcq wrote:The second one, stadium authors might have a reason why there is password protection on their map. Ever thought about this? If you want to play a map this badly, rebuild it with help of screen shoots.
so we have already two arguments that speaks for fixing this bug. btw i dont care why they set a password, it's content that is broken so it will be fixed on some way, hopefully from nadeo the other way would be a hex editor to edit the password, but for that way a tool would be nice. rebuild is no option would take to long for thousands of maps.

i disagree.
you don't have to play the game if you don't like it.

I like it, and I play it. I don't like people who want to import everything from TM1, but fail and complain about it...

Try to post a track that has a password and maybe the community can help you

.
I do say Password protected tracks can reveal more information but its the author decision to make it work or not.
So try to hack it yourself.

The problem that I pointed out with this statement was, that I don't know what the problem is you are talking about and wanted you to explain it to me. I'm not in the mood to discuss with people which are not interested in a discussion with people that want to help solve a problem and react stroppy. But just for you, can you explain me what the problem is that you are referring to (the loop cam bug).

And there we have the problem. There are no arguments for fixing a not broken functionality. The password is set by people to protect their work. Imagine you see this beautiful Lamborghini that is staying in front of you, but you do not own it. Are you starting to complain that it is locked even though you feel like you have the right to drive it, nevertheless it is not yours? Go and break it open, in most European countries you can get into prison for such behaviour.
But if you still insist in breaking passwords, follow the link given by w1lla or search for people who can crack a track for you.

On a more friendly approach, just contact the concerned authors who made the tracks you are looking for.
Since it's only a cam change and shadow computing, it's kind of easy to do for them.
Most will probably kindly update their tracks. And if they don't want to or are unreachable, then so be it.
That's the best way to deal with this situation in my opinion, as you don't "force into"or "break" the work of others.

* LOOPCAM FIX * for Old tracks
I had already reported this issue.
http://forum.maniaplanet.com/viewtopic. ... 70&t=17232
And I hope nadeo does fix this in some way.
However I have found a solution ! The actual problem is for any track from TMN ESWC or TMU (before TMF) any race cam is changed to
default in the MT
It can be fixed if you load the track you want to convert into TMF first, The trick is to play the track (i dont know why this makes a difference but it does) drive to a place where the MT is triggered, it should work correctly, then save. If you drive the whole track be sure to do so slower than the author time so validation is not broken.
Then load the track into TM2 and the cams will work fine ! (load/save it or batch convert it)
I discovered TMF is a bit strange too with old tracks, if they are unconverted they play fine, if they are opened & saved it also breaks Racecams (unless the track is driven before saving).
