If you make a modpack, i.e., a mod, a set of maniascripts, skins for the cars, and even a trackset to go along with it, you can pack that all in to one mega-file that TM2 can read all at once and then put it in the right place for you.

Or if you don't own it original or as a cracked version, try out gimp.Knutselmaaster wrote:photoshop

Paint.NET is free and there is a PSD plugin for it.Chevron wrote:Sorry for off-topic but in which program could I open .psd?

Do you know what I hate?
Look at the E3 2011: Trackmania 2 Canyon demo vid at 2:38, when the car is starting to fly. Do you agree when I say: this will be an awful bug for "progamers"?^^

Re: Screenshot/Video/Article Collection
What bug? I see him go off the jump crooked, so it affects how the car twists in midair. Just line it up straight. Sheesh. I don't get why so-called "eSport pros" call everything a bug. I've gone through and watched nearly every bug video in TMNF, and save for a very select few, most of them I can explain as simple driving mechanics.

Could you please explain me what is logic at this screwd jump?:D
As he is leaving the pave, flying into the air he is getting an awful twist from nowhere...
This game does not have to be realistic, i know that it is an arcade-fun-racer. but it has to be logic within it's physics. I don't want to experience suprising twists while driving highspeed.^^

Re: Screenshot/Video/Article Collection
he could have turned from left to right just before the car start "flying"... i think is enough just a little movement.

Re: Screenshot/Video/Article Collection
Okay. Watch from 2:34--2:37 very closely. You'll notice at the end of this section, he starts to weave back and forth, it's slight, but noticeable. If you watch even closer, you'll see that as he weaves, much like a real car would at high speed, the weight is transferred from side to side, causing the car to rock back and forth. Just like the Original Desert car did, but less pronounced. As the car was in mid-rock as it left the pavement, with no countering force (asphalt) beneath it, the car's momentum simply carried it into the twist. This is all very simple physics...and, actually, to use your original post--more logical than some of the previous games, as they did not have realistic suspension simulation

Re: Screenshot/Video/Article Collection
It looked to me like he meant to do it... it left him well at landing time.
But even if he didn't and it really is a defect, remember that we're in alpha right now... not even beta. There will be bugs to fix before we see the final polished product. I'm not worried about it. NADEO hasn't let us down this way in the past.
(Unless you count the tweak in Stadium physics between Nations and United... but that was a conscious decision. I'm sure they wouldn't let a defect like that make it to their shipping product.)
But again, not sure it's a defect.
