Hey guys,
I created a map validated it, computed the shadows all the stuff necessary.
So I went and created my own game (via the options menu) and choose my map.
The game is loading and I can play it.
Now, if my friends try to connect they get the simple message "cannot join server" that's all. Same for me when I try to join theirs.
So wheres the problem?

I opened the Ports:
UDP 80
UDP 443
TCP & UDP 2350
TCP & UDP 3450
Port 2350 (Server) & 3450 (P2P Server) are also configured under the Netwok tab in the Advanced Settings.

please check a few times with the Windows cmd command
Code: Select all
netstat -na
Did you try the "force local address" checkbox also?
The Wiki tells about port ranges, you might want to try that as well.
Re: Trackmania² Stadium Open Beta
will owners of the FINAL free release version be able to spectate in all online multiplayer race servers? And if so, will we be able to see any custom mods that the server may have installed? What exact disadvantages will free users have?Hylis wrote:At the moment, the free access should be a station with time attack and a demo campaign. The paying version will have a full campaign, the official times, the custom modes, datas and other Maniaplanet services, including the planets and planets related services.
Re: Trackmania² Stadium Open Beta
I agree. The information regarding difference between free and paid is very vague.isamu wrote:will owners of the FINAL free release version be able to spectate in all online multiplayer race servers? Will the free version:
* have online play?
* have LAN mode?
* have same set of blocks as paid version?
* be compatible with Maps made in paid version?
Will someone please shed some light on this?
Re: Trackmania² Stadium Open Beta
for last two points it's quite 100% to be the same.

I numbered your questions to respond to them individually.supersmo wrote:I agree. The information regarding difference between free and paid is very vague.

1. Yes. Time Attack mode only.
2. I haven't heard.
3. As Omnixor said, considering the way TM works, I'm quite sure that they will always have the same blocks.
4. Yes. I'm quite sure maps will always be compatible with the paid version. However, from what I've read, there will be no track editor in the free version, so really all the tracks will be coming from users in the paid version anyway.

Thanx eyobo for sharing your understanding of the differences between free and paid. Interesting news about the editor. Hadn't heard about that.eyebo wrote:I numbered your questions to respond to them individually.supersmo wrote:I agree. The information regarding difference between free and paid is very vague.
